Universal wanted the official Twisters TikTok page to connect the film with younger audiences through an ongoing social presence. That meant building a stream of relevant content around the release, with film footage, talent participation and trends giving viewers reasons to follow and engage.
MediaNug supported daily posting on the official @twistersmovie TikTok page. Over six months, the team created more than 150 assets as Universal’s TikTok agency partner.
The team edited pre-existing material specifically for the platform and developed concepts and scripts for content days with talent. That combined the film’s existing assets with material designed around cast participation.
Weekly trend reports informed new assets built around trending audio and conversations. The process gave the team a recurring way to identify relevant ideas and turn them into content throughout the release campaign.
