For Disney’s The Little Mermaid, MediaNug was brought on to collaborate with top digital creators to recapture the nostalgic magic of the original film while introducing the beloved story to a new generation. The challenge was to seamlessly blend the iconic imagery of the past with the fresh energy of the new rendition, creating content that resonated with both longtime fans and first-time viewers.
Solution
To bring this vision to life, we created multiple engaging digital assets that were shared both organically and through paid promotion. We worked with a talented TikTok painter who voiced over her process while creating a stunning portrait of Halle Bailey as Ariel, celebrating the film’s new leading star. Additionally, we collaborated with a beauty creator on a mesmerizing makeup transformation video. By leveraging these creative approaches, we helped The Little Mermaid make waves across social media, engaging audiences of all ages and driving excitement for the film’s release.
